April Favourites 2015

This month, I seem to have had more favourites than the past few months, particularly music favourites, some of which you will have seen in previous posts, others are new to both me and this blog.

  • Paper Towns by John Green- As you may have read in my review of this book, I really loved it; from the beautiful way in which it was written, to the characters and relationships, it was just a wonderful book overall, and in my opinion, was better than The Fault in Our Stars. I won't go into too much detail with this as it can all be found in my review so if you do want to read more on this, you can find that here, or if you want to buy the book, you can find it here.
  • The One Dollar Horse by Lauren St John- This was the other book that I read on holiday and although I started it a few months before, I struggled to get into it, so I ended up only reading a little bit at a time. However, when I was relaxing in the sun by the pool, it seemed much easier to get into it, and I ended up really enjoying it. It's very technical in terms of horses and eventing terminology but if you're interested in that sort of thing, I'd recommend reading it, if not, you'd probably get a bit confused or not find it particularly enjoyable. I am looking forward to reading the second book as soon as I get chance. You can find the book here.
  • Wattpad- A slightly different favourite to books but it ties in so I thought I'd place it in this grouping anyway. For anyone that doesn't know, wattpad is a website/app that allows people to share their own writing with the world, whether it's fiction, fan-fiction, all sorts. I love finding stories that other people have written but haven't published, and it's a great site for any budding authors to showcase their work and allow other people to have a read and even leave comments which can be both rewarding and helpful. You can find the website here.
  • Olly Murs Concert- This was very touch and go as to whether we could attend but we made a fairly last minute decision to go and I really enjoyed it. Getting there and back was a bit manic as it wasn't at our nearest arena, so we had to get the train which we weren't used to. When we did get there though, I had a lovely time and Olly was incredible; he was great at entertaining the audience with his speech/comments, as well as with his performance and voice. It was definitely a memorable night. You can find his latest album here.
  • Handwritten by Shawn Mendes- Once again, this is in my favourites, sorry if you're getting bored of seeing this, but as the whole album was released earlier this month, I couldn't not put this in. As I've mentioned before, his tone and overall voice is insane and I love all of his songs, I don't think I'll be getting bored of his album any time soon. You can buy the deluxe album here or the regular album here.
  • Title by Meghan Trainor- I know, I know, this has been on my favourites so many times before but I just thought I'd keep it on here anyway as it is still one of my favourite albums. You can find her album here.
  • See You Again by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth- I am obsessed with this song and have had it on repeat so many times. It's so beautiful and emotional and it brings me to tears each time I listen to it, even more so when I watch the video (especially when the cars go different ways towards the end). I also think that Charlie has a lovely tone of voice and I have enjoyed listening to his covers for almost a year now, so to hear him being played on the radio as part of a number one song, it's a nice thing to experience. You can watch the video here.
  • See You Again Cover by Hobbie Stuart- Since I love the original and I love Hobbie's covers, there was no way that I wasn't going to love this. Although it was only uploaded a few days ago, I wanted to feature it in April's favourites because I love it so much and felt like it deserved a place in this post. You can find it here.
  • Love Me Like You Do Cover by Hobbie Stuart and Gabby (velvetgh0st)- Oh my god! This cover is insanely good; their voices sound incredible together and I love their version of the song (maybe even more than the orginal), I really hope Gabby starts uploading covers more frequently because her voice is beautiful and she'd be crazy not to share it with the world. You watch the video here.
  • And as requested by a friend, Cheerleader by OMI, which I do like, but it's not a favourite. However, she loves it and was with me when I wrote this post so she suggested (*cough* demanded *cough*) that I put it in :D You can watch the video here.
Beauty and Fashion
  • Oh La La Perfume- I won't go into too much detail with this as it was featured in my holiday haul (here), but I have loved being able to smell and use this perfume again, particularly as it gets closer to Summer as it's a scent that definitely reminds of that season and the sun in general.
  • 'Prada' Bag- Again, I won't blab on about this as it was in my holiday haul (here), but I have been using this a lot outside of college and it's just so practical: it goes with everything, fits everything I might need in and looks lovely. I will definitely be getting my money's worth out of this.
  • Soap and Glory Hand Food- I often find that when I go to bed, everything else is moisturised and I forget to do my hands as I usually only do them when they feel in need of it, but this last month, my hands have felt particularly dry at night and I tend to find myself reaching for the hand cream before I drift off to sleep. I also have a history of using hand cream a lot over the years and from what I can remember, this is the best one I've discovered, it feels amazing on my hands, very soft and lightweight so that I barely recognise that I've got any on (no
sticky/heavy feeling), but it still leaves my hands in a great condition. I would definitely recommend this hand cream to anyone who struggles with lightly-moderately dry hands and wants a cream that does the job, without leaving an annoying feeling after application. You can find a 50ml version here or a 125ml version here or a 250ml version here
  • Hobbie Stuart- I discovered Hobbie through Gabby (velvetgh0st) last month (I think) but I only really started watching his covers properly this month and his voice is incredible, I love his tone which seems to suite a fairly wide range of songs that he covers, and I love to see his and Gabby's friendship, both in videos and on twitter.
  • Once Upon a Time- Surprisingly, I hadn't heard much about this show until everyone suggested Zoe (Zoella) watch it and at the time, I wasn't watching any series so I decided to give it a go too. I liked the first couple of episodes but it didn't really grab me as much as I expected it to and I contemplated stopping watching it, but a few episodes after that, it got more interesting and exciting. I'm now towards the end of the first series (I don't watch it as often as I usually would a series as I have so much revision at the moment), but I am really enjoying it now (although at times, it is very confusing!) and I'm looking forward to the next few episodes and series.
  • Union J Autograph- My lovely friend got me Union J's signatures and it's currently in my drawer next to my bed so every time I open it, it makes me smile. So thank you so much for getting me that, I love it. <3
  • This final thing is a moment which only happened today but since it happened in April, I'm including it in this months favourites; and that is that JJ from Union J followed me on twitter which may not seem that exciting to anyone else but as you may have read in previous posts, Union J are my favourite band and I have been fans of theirs since their first performance together on X Factor (that seems so long ago now!), so any fangirls/boys out there will probably know how exciting it is when your idol/favourite singer follows you. It also came at a great time because I was having a really rubbishy few days/weeks so it definitely helped improve my mood even if it was only for a few hours, particularly as I hadn't tweeted anything that morning so it definitely took me by surprise to say the least!
What have you been loving this month? Let me know in the comments.

Thanks for reading.

Holiday Haul

I have another haul for you today which contains the things I bought on my holiday and a couple of things I've bought since then. I hope you enjoy!

Holiday Purchases

Oh La La! Perfume: My mum bought me this perfume about four years or so ago when she went on holiday and I loved it, I used it so frequently and thought it smelt incredible. When I finished the bottle, I kept it for a bit and tried looking for it online and at the time, I found nothing. I then searched again a while after (after I'd got rid of the bottle) and still had no luck. At this point I started to doubt that it had ever existed! However, on my holiday a fortnight ago, I was perusing down the perfume and make up aisle in the supermarket and came across the perfume, which I was very excited about and sprayed some of the tester and still loved the smell, so of course, I picked up a bottle. This perfume has a really lovely design and has is a mix of fruity, tropical, citrusy, vanilla and sweet smelling but isn't too sickly or overpoweringly sweet, it has a nice balance that makes it smell sweetly fresh.

Rimmel Wonder'full Extra Black Mascara: On my trip down the make up and perfume aisle, I also came across this little beauty. I can't remember the exact cost but it was definitely between 4 and 5 euros which is between about £2.80 and £3.60, so it was a real bargain considering they usually cost about £7.99 here in England. Having said that, I hadn't come across this mascara before seeing it there, I was just drawn in by it's plastic/rubber wand which I really like in a mascara and thought it looked like a good purchase. Since buying it, I've used it almost everyday and have really liked it, it's even coming close to a favourite but hasn't overtaken my Collection favourite yet.

'Prada' Handbag: Whilst on holiday, we went out for the morning one day and took a trip to the African market where I purchased this bag. I'm well aware it isn't a real Prada bag but I really like the design anyway and I thought it was simple enough to go with pretty much all outfits, but still really nice looking and a good enough size to fit everything I need in without being too big. So far, I've only used it once but it was very comfortable to carry around and fit everything I needed for that day in (which was more than I would usually use for something other than college) and it looked really nice.

Other Purchases:

Tangle Attack: I've heard so many people raving about tangle teasers but I've never tried one and never particularly wanted to as i didn't think it would help my hair (curly) and they're not exactly cheap (particularly if they're not going to do much for your hair type). However, I saw this 'Tangle Attack' in poundland so I thoughts I'd pick one up to get a rough idea what the tangle teaser would be like and how it differs to brushes for my hair, and I have to say, even though it was only £1, it has been quite useful and been good for getting through my hair fairly easily, so I may be investing in a tangle teaser in the near future.

Maybelline DreamLumiTouch Concealer: I've not come across this concealer before but I have been looking for a new one and seeing as this and the foundation below (along with other products) were on offer for 2 for £10 in tesco, I thought I'd give them a go. I've only used this to test it briefly when I got home after buying them yesterday so I can't comment on the quality or result yet but I'm hoping it will do all I want it to do.

Maybelline Dream Satin Liquid Foundation: As I mentioned above, I purchased this with the concealer for £10 for the two and like with the concealer, I can't give many comments on this yet as I only tested it when I got home and haven't used it yet properly but I might do a review on these two products after I get a proper feel for them.

Thank you for reading. Have you made any purchases recently that you'd recommend? Let me know in the comments.

Paper Towns Review

After the big rave about The Fault In Our Stars and how absolutely perfect it was, I have to be honest and say that although I did love it (both the book and the film), the book wasn't as good as I was expecting... I'd heard so many people talk about it, say how sad it was and how incredible the book was overall so I had very high expectations. I won't say I was disappointed but, I think my expectations were a bit too high and I didn't love it as much as I expected to. Having said that, I liked John Green's style of writing and when I saw a buy one get one free deal on his (and some other people's) books a while ago, I picked up Paper Towns, Will Grayson, Will Grayson and An Abundance of Katherines (plus another book for my Grandma's birthday). So far, I have only read Paper Towns which I read on holiday last week but I really really enjoyed it, more so than The Fault In Our Stars. I think because I hadn't heard a great deal about it or lots of people raving about it, it gave me more room to enjoy it and build my own expectations and thoughts on it as it went along. The only negative for me was that I had seen the trailer for the film (which I am very excited to see) so I couldn't really use my imagination for the main characters as I just pictured Nat Wolff and Cara Delevingne, but even so, it didn't really matter too much.

The writing style of the book and the way it gets you thinking is amazing and I loved it, with so many deep and meaningful thoughts behind it and plots that make you question your own beliefs and ideas; it really was beautifully written. The other key thing I liked was that it was from a male perspective which is rare in the books I read and it made it feel a bit fresh and interesting even though it didn't really make a great deal of difference to anything else in the book.

I feel like this book would be a good read for a range of people; anyone who loves a good plot, a well written book or one that evokes a lot of thoughts and questioning.

Let me know your thoughts on the book if you've read it or any other book suggestions you may have, I'm always open to finding new books.

Week Away: Fuerteventura

Hiya, today I thought I'd do a slightly different blog post, in which I share little stories about my week.

It all started last Wednesday (the 8th) when I hopped on a plane with my mum, dad, brother and grandparents, and headed off for a week in Fuerteventura. It was a much needed break and was lovely to spend time with the family and enjoy the sun in a beautiful environment, doing practically nothing.

It was a bit of a bumpy start when I came down with what I assume to be a 24 hour bug on the day of the flight which resulted in my feeling dizzy, hot, cold, sick, headachy and just generally not great! Not the best circumstances for a four hour flight. On top of that, it also happened to be the day of the French air strikes meaning the four hour flight became a five and a half hour one due to an hour wait before take off and having to make a slight flight course change in order to avoid flying over french air space. Needless to say, I didn't enjoy the flight there and was feeling rather groggy when we actually reached the hotel.

The next day, I was feeling significantly better and was looking forward to a day by the pool, tanning (or attempting to) in the sun and as well as reading, eating, swimming and revising, this was pretty much what I did the rest of the week.

As well as enjoying the relaxing time, there were several moments that I'm sure I will remember for a long time, many funny had-to-be-there moments and many funny conversations, so I thought I'd share with you some of these so that you can hopefully imagine the great amusement it provided and so that I can look back at this in years to come and refresh my memory of these moments.

Within the first half hour of us sunbathing by the pool, my parents returned from the welcome meeting and had nipped into the hotel shop and picked up a frisbee and some balls. My dad decided to throw the frisbee to my brother who stupidly decided to throw it back to him... only it didn't quite go where he intended it to go, instead what seemed to happen in slow motion, the frisbee curved left towards a mum who was putting suncream on her son who looked 3 or 4 years old, just as we thought it was going to hit this mother's arm, she stepped back slightly at the perfect (or not so perfect!) moment so that the frisbee went smack bang into the poor boys face. As you can probably imagine, there was a lot of gasping and apologising and even some crying heard from the boy. My brother did feel very guilty and made sure the boy was okay, who despite the injury, soon felt better after my brother gave him his sweets to cheer him up, but it was definitely a memorable start to the holiday.
Later on that week, after several more minor stupid comments and moments by my brother and some from the other family members, my brother returned to our table at dinner in hysterics after going to the toilet. Puzzled at what had caused him so much amusement, we eagerly awaited his explanation and eventually he managed to get out his story through fits of laughter. He had entered the bathroom, and seeing that the urinals were all occupied, he made his way over to the cubicle, thinking it was empty considering it was unlocked, he barged into the cubicle, smacking the door open. Unfortunately, the cubicle was not unoccupied and he had managed to smack the door into this man, who got knocked into and pressed up against the wall between it and the door, knocking his knee on the toilet and weeing on the floor in the process. To top it all off, the man not only forgave my brother, but took responsibilty for the mishap and apologised to my brother for not locking the door. When I heard this little detail, I couldn't contain myself, the story had been funny enough but for him to take full responsibilty just topped it off. All in all, I don't think I have ever seen my brother laugh so much, nor have I ever laughed so hard at a situation that I didn't actually see unfold.
To finish the holiday off, possibly my funniest moment of the holiday has to be at the airport when I was waiting to go through the security scanner and saw my grandpa being searched on the other side. He had had to remove his belt and put it through the scanner... you can probably see where I'm going with this... He stood with his legs slightly apart as the security guard searched his body, but he obviously needed his belt because the next thing I saw was his trousers fall down, luckily not so that it was too revealing but it did expose his boxers before he had chance to grab his trousers and pull them back up. I couldn't contain my laughter as I headed through the scanner and for a long time after the incident but it must have been embarrassing for him. It was definitely a moment that I will remember for a long time.

I hope you enjoyed this different style blog post and I'd love for you to let me know what other posts you'd like to see and/or your thoughts on this style in the comments.

Smoothie Recipe

As a big fan of smoothies, I love reading or seeing other people's Smoothie recipes for inspiration so I thought I'd share one of my favourites with you.

· A handful of green grapes
· 5 Strawberries

· Two slices of melon chopped up

· Three table spoons of natural yoghurt
· One teaspoon of flax seed
· One teaspoon of agave nectar

Place the ingredients into a blender or smoothie maker and blend until they are at your preferred consistency.
To add an extra crunch or make the smoothie colder, why not add a couple of ice cubes into the mix and
blend with the fruit?

Hope this gave you some inspiration to try out a new recipe or edit your own. What are your favourite smoothie recipes and ingredients? Let me know in the comments.

Top Ten Albums

Another 'Top Ten...' post for you today, this time it's music and my top ten current favourite albums. Got any other suggestions of different artists, songs or albums that you'd recommend me checking out? Let me know in the comments below.
  1. You Got It All- Union J- Surprise, surprise, Union J's album is in my favourites! I love this album and all the songs on it, there's a range of styles which are great for various occasions and moods (or all if you're like me). There are a lot of feel good songs and a couple of beautiful, powerful ones on there too.
  2. Title- Meghan Trainor- I know I bang on about this album, but it is seriously incredible! There are so many hits and I love every single song. It is the perfect album for working out to, getting ready to or just to listen to to put you in a good mood. I don't know how many times I have listened to this album but given the amount of times it's been playing on repeat, I reckon a lot!
  3. Handwritten- Shawn Mendes- I've mentioned this album before as well and although it is not available to buy yet, (I will be getting it as soon as it's available on the 13th April) the songs that are available are incredible; his voice is beautiful and has a great tone, and the songs are amazing. I particularly love A Little Too Much which has some beautiful and powerful lyrics that I think the majority of us will be able to relate to.
  4. LIVESOS- 5 Seconds of Summer- After listening to this album so many times, it's made me even more excited to see them live in June as it think will be a great atmosphere with the songs being performed incredibly well.
  5. Meet The Vamps (Deluxe)- The Vamps- I haven't been listening to this album that much recently in comparison to the others on my favourites, but in the lead up to The Vamps tour, I will be listening to it a lot more. I love the songs and the melodies on this album, particularly Girls on TV and Last Night.
  6. Now That's What I Call Disney- Who doesn't love Disney? This album is perfect for my Disney cravings or Disney moods, with so many classics that are so fun to sing along to and are great at improving my mood.
  7. Shawn Mendes EP- Shawn Mendes- Like Handwritten, I am in love with his EP which has four amazing osngs and vocals on. I love them all and have listening to them so many times and still love them as much as I did the first time.
  8. Union J (Deluxe)- Union J- Recently I have had some major Union J feels and have craved listening to their voices quite a lot, so this album has really helped with that and has made me happy when I listen to it. I love all of the songs on this album and have done since it was released in 2013. My favourites have been the same since I first listened to it and they are Amaze Me and Head in the Clouds, but I do really love the other songs as well.
  9. X- Ed Sheeran- Another amazing album by an incredible artist, with so many great songs that I enjoy listening to and singing along to. My favourites of this album always seem to be changing as I love them all, but one that has been a consistent favourite is, Take It Back.
  10. The Wanted- The Wanted- Despite the fact that The Wanted are no longer together, it hasn't lessened my love for the or their songs and at the moment, I have been loving listening to their first album which has some really beautiful songs on. I will never tire of hearing this album.

Top Ten Bath and Shower Products

I am a huge bath and shower product fan, mostly of Lush products but there are some other brands I love to use as well, so I thought I'd share with you some of my current favourite products. If you have any other suggestions or opinions, let me know in the comments.
  1. Rituals Diwali Delight Foaming Shower Gel Sensation- As I've mentioned before (a while ago), this has one of my favourite scents ever. I find it smells sweet and fresh yet sophisticated at the same time. It feels lovely and soft against your skin, and leaves your skin feeling hydrated and smooth. It's very moisturising, and the smell lasts for ages after which I really love. This product is one of the most expensive bath and shower products I use and love but in my opinion, it is worth every penny. It is £8.50 and can be found here
  2. Lush Melting Snowman Bath Melt- I have just used my last Melting Snowman and now have to wait about half a year for the next release of Christmas products, which I'm a bit gutted about but at least it gives me time to use up my other products. This is my favourite Lush product because I love the smell of cinnamon which is very evident in the bath melt. It makes the bath water feel silky and leaves my skin feeling lovely and soft. Although, sometimes I find the feeling a bit too heavy on my skin, so I wash the excess off quickly in the shower and am just left with a nice layer to work into my skin. It also leaves your bathroom smelling incredible for hours after, even when the bath water has all gone.
  3. Ted Baker Butterfly Wings Bath Wash- Another of my favourite smelling products, it has a slightly more floral scent than the Rituals product but is still  very fresh and sweet yet sophisticated scent. Another product that leaves my skin feeling great. It costs £7.50 and can be found here
  4. Ted Baker Butterfly Wings Body Scrub- Same as above. The small bits in the scrub really help to remove any dead skin and leave a nice, soft layer of skin behind. It is £8.00 and can be found here
  5. Zoella Soak Opera Bath Soak and Shower Cream- As I mentioned in my first favourites post way back when, I am a big fan of this product. I have been using this product twice a day most days since November and I still have a little bit left, showing that the product lasts a very long time and is worth the money. It smells lovely with a very subtle and delicate scent. I will definitely be re-purchasing this when it finally runs out. It can be found here for £5.00
  6. Lush Candy Mountain Bubble Bar- Another Lush Christmas product that I absolutely love. It smells really sweet and pretty (if a smell can smell pretty?!?!), without being sickly or overpowering. It makes really nice and silky bubbles and turns the water a cracking colour. It's also another product that leaves your bathroom smelling great for hours.
  7. Soap and Glory The Scrub of Your Life Body Scrub- It costs £7.00 and can be found here
  8. Lush Honey Bee Bath Bomb- I'll try not to repeat myself too much as many of the Lush products do a similar thing and leave a similar, soft feeling on your skin. This bath bomb has a much subtler smell than the other two Lush products already mentioned but smells great all the same. It's very fresh and soothing so can be perfect for a morning or evening. You can find it here for £3.35
  9. Lush Twilight Bath Bomb- This also turns the bath a fantastic colour and is great to watch as it reacts to the water. It smells quite calming and relaxing which makes it ideal for an evening bath, particularly if you want something to prepare you for bed and to help you sleep. It costs £3.35 and can be found here
  10. Lush Creamy Candy Bubble Bar- This is another sweet smelling product and I find it smells very similar to the Candy Mountain Bubble Bar, if a little bit more subtle. It turns your bath a pretty pink colour and makes the water feel quite silky against your skin. It can be found here for £2.75

March Favourites 2015

Sorry for the lack of posts and the wobbly ending to the 31 Day Blog Challenge, if you've been reading them (well done and thank you- I know that must have took some commitment considering the amount) you'll know my laptop broke and therefore I haven't had it for about a week, but it is finally back and up and running which means my blog posts should be more consistent now! :) Anyway, here are my monthly favourites...

  • Chocolate Chip and Banana Cookies: Recently, I have been loving this recipe because it's so easy to make, it's fairly quick and makes delicious cookies... It may not be the healthiest recipe but it tastes bloomin' great!
  • Sweet Potato Fries: I love sweet potato fries and have been particularly loving them this month, especially the ones you can get from 'DLicious' at David Lloyd gyms, they taste so good and aren't too bad for you.
  • Sally Hanson Natural Nail Growth Revitalizer: My nails have been in terrible condition recently and have been very weak and easily breakable, so I have been using the Sally Hanson Natural Nail Growth Revitalizer which seems to be helping strengthen and improve my nail health. If anyone is having issues with their nails or is simply looking for a product to treat and help your nails, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a go.
  • MUA Nail Varnish: Due to my lifestyle (particularly being around horses), if I paint my nails, the varnish soon chips no matter the quality of nail varnish, because of this, I tend not to buy many expensive nail varnishes as it doesn't seem to make much difference in how long it lasts, and the ones I buy are much cheaper. One brand that is of a good, low price and of a decent quality for makeup (I've found), is MUA which is a Superdrug brand. I recently bought 4 different coloured nail varnishes from there and have been giving them all a try and have loved them, they haven't lasted ages before chipping but usually at least a day or two (which is good for me), and they look really nice. I love the colours I picked (very Spring like), I've also found that the overall finish looks really glossy and nice, and each time I've worn one of the colours, I have had several compliments on it. The varnishes are only £1 each and there is a nice range of colours to choose from.
  • MUA Lipstick: Whilst purchasing the nail varnishes, I decided to buy a couple of lipsticks of various colours and shades, suitable for Spring and Summer. Usually I am NOT a lipstick person, I much prefer lipgloss which is far easier to apply and top up through out the day where as when I wear lipstick, it seems to need topping up a lot more often than I am prepared to do it. However, I wanted to get into lipsticks a bit more so I bought some from MUA at £1 each (very good price) as I felt that if I didn't use them often, there wouldn't be much economic damage done. Having said that, I have loved the colours and although I haven't worn them much since buying them, I think it has encouraged me to wear lipstick more and I'm looking forward to using them on my holidays and in Spring and Summer.
  • Collection Ultimate Fix 3 in 1- Foundation, Concealer and Powder: I often don't feel the need to wear foundation as my skin sometimes doesn't need it so by using it, my face feels a bit heavy but recently, my skin hasn't been great and I've felt like it's needed more coverage than normal so this product has been my savior. It's very light and hard to notice but it improves the coverage a lot and gives a natural, powder finish which I like. It's also really quick and easy to apply so is great for mornings before college when I don't have much time.
  • Primark: As you may have seen in my Primark Haul and Lookbook here, I recently went to Primark and purchased a number of clothes and accessories for Spring, Summer and my Holiday. I think the price for everything I got was very reasonable and it has helped my stock up and update my wardrobe for the upcoming months, which makes me happy and excited.
  • 94%: I've been loving this game at the moment, it has a similar concept to Family Fortunes and is fun to play when you're alone and killing time, just relaxing or to do with friends.
  • Gym: Recently I have been enjoying going to the gym, not necessarily going or doing all the exercises, but I tend to enjoy the feeling of doing something worthwhile, and the way I feel after even if that's aching or exhaustion!
  • Pretty Little Liars: I know I bang on about this, but it is such a good show and given the season finale shown this month, I couldn't not put this in (again!)
  • 'Title' by Meghan Trainor: I mentioned this album in my last favourites (here) but I have been loving it so much this past month as well that I had to put this in this month's favourites too! I love listening to the album whatever mood I'm in and has become my go-to album when I don't know what I feel like listening to. I love some of the lyrics (not all) but I think some are very powerful and have a good message.
What did you love last month? Let me know in the comments!
